Takedown policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

We take intellectual property seriously. Every coloring page on Coloring Pages Daily is an original design. We don't use licensed characters or brands, and when we draw public-domain characters or stories we make our own versions rather than copying any studio's look. Mistakes can still happen, though. If you think one of our pages uses your copyrighted work or trademark without permission, please tell us and we'll deal with it quickly.

What to include in your notice

To help us act quickly, please include the following. These are the same details a notice under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) needs, and they also cover what we need for complaints under UK and EU law.

  1. Your contact details: your full name, postal address, phone number and email address. If you're writing for someone else, such as a company or a client, tell us who you represent.
  2. The original work: what you believe is being infringed, for example a link to or copy of your artwork, or the trademark and where it is registered. If several works are involved, a representative list is fine.
  3. The page on our site: the exact URL of each coloring page or file you're reporting, and what about it you believe infringes (for example "the character design" or "the logo on the shirt").
  4. A good-faith statement: a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized by the rights owner, its agent or the law.
  5. An accuracy statement: a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights owner or are authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Your signature: a physical or electronic signature. Typing your full name at the end of the email is enough.

Please only send a notice if you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner. Under US law, someone who knowingly makes a false claim that material infringes can be liable for damages. Before you send a notice, consider whether the use might be allowed anyway, for example because the work is in the public domain.

Where to send it

Email hello@coloringpagesdaily.com with "Takedown notice" in the subject line. Email is the fastest way to reach us. If you need a postal address for a formal notice, ask in your email and we'll provide one.

What we do next

If you think a page was removed by mistake

If you believe a page was removed by mistake or misidentified (for example, you hold the rights to it or have permission to use it), you can send us a counter-notice at the same email address. Please include:

  1. your name, postal address, phone number and email address;
  2. the page that was removed and the URL where it appeared;
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the page was removed because of a mistake or misidentification;
  4. if you're responding to a DMCA notice: a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address (or, if you're outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you'll accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice;
  5. your physical or electronic signature.

We'll share the counter-notice with the person who sent the original notice. If they don't tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they've started legal action, we may restore the page.

Repeat infringement

We publish only our own designs and don't host uploads from visitors. If a design or source turns out to be the subject of repeated valid complaints, we stop using it and review related pages, and we won't publish similar work again.

Reporting other problems

Seen something else that shouldn't be here, such as a page that isn't suitable for children, a factual error, or a broken file? Email hello@coloringpagesdaily.com with the page URL and we'll look at it quickly. You don't need to follow the steps above for these reports.

For what you can and can't do with our pages, see our licensing page andterms of use.
